VANCE ASHE
Founder & CEO
Vance is the visionary who has grown Ashe Cosgrove to over 100 clients as of 2021. Ever optimistic, he lives by Ashe Cosgrove’s mission and inspires the rest of us to do so too.
Approachable by those who work with him, he is a listener. He pursues goals with enthusiasm and instills that same attitude in the rest of us.
Through changes in our industry and the business world at large, he’s driven us to be adaptative. He inspires trust and knows the benefits of creating a positive working environment where staff capability is recognized and rewarded.
After spending 10 years in finance with Bank of America, Vance embarked on a 20-year journey in the technology field. First, he pioneered the role of Technical Support Analyst for the City of Cotati in California where he implemented the installation and networking of Cotati City Hall's first network. Vance moved on to work 9 years for an ISP, where he managed and supported the technical needs of various businesses before starting his company in 2004.
Vance holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
With a last name like ‘Ashe’ you might wonder if he plays tennis (yes, he is related to Arthur) and yes, Vance plays avidly on the courts of Petaluma. On weekends he likes playing guitar (you can look him up on YouTube) and enjoying a nice Merlot from Napa. He lives with his wife, Lisa, in Santa Rosa and has 2 grandchildren who have ruined his original plan of moving to Hawaii for retirement one day. (He could never leave them!)
CHARLES SMITH
Head of Tech Operations
Charles manages the design and maintenance of Ashe Cogrove’s technical processes and services. His job is ensuring that we are functioning with the best business operational processes in place.
Although his role includes analyzing current operations, researching best practices, setting objectives for business optimization, properly allocating budgets, and overseeing technicians and engineers; he is aware that people are our #1 asset and no matter how skilled a team is, our clients want to work with folks that they know, that they like, and that they trust.
When he’s not at work making sure client’s IT environmenst are running smoothly, he spends time rooting for local sports teams - he's a big Giants fan!
CANDICE YOUNGMAN
Project and Operations Manager
Candice keeps us running (and running smoothly!) Operations is the heart of Ashe Cosgrove, and she is responsible for our overall well-being. A seasoned critical thinker, she’s consistently analyzing situations to ensure decisions are geared toward our client’s best interests.
Candice’s involvement in developing procedures and protocols continues to lead us in running an efficient, effective, organized, and profitable business. She’s been integral in creating our current ticketing system, developing our sales department, and forming our talent acquisition program.
Her leadership experience includes roles in community outreach, sales, office administration, operations and general management.
Candice holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Biodynamics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an Associate of Science in Biotechnology from Contra Costa College.
When she’s not at Ashe Cosgrove, you can either find her with her rescue dog, hiking, in the redwoods of Northern California or at one of the beautiful beaches in Inverness.
