Our Field Technicians

Trevor New Photo.jpg

Field Technician

Trevor fights fires – literally, not just in IT. His experience as a volunteer EMT/Firefighter for the Gold Ridge Fire Protection District in Sonoma provided him with appropriate responses to emergency scene incidents. He’s assisted with fire suppression, rescue, and medical emergency situations.

Now he’s more likely working with firewalls at ACI clients.

“Clear communication with fellow firefighters, leadership, patients, and dispatch was critical in that role, and I’ve taken that experience and use it here at Ashe Cosgrove. Communication from your IT Tech is critical in solving issues”

Prior to Ashe Cosgrove, Trevor worked for the City of Novato as a Network and Systems Administrator. In his role there, he managed Windows server and domain maintenance, installation, and repair. “I have plenty of experience to handle anything that comes my way here at Ashe Cosgrove.”

Trevor graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Computer Science.

When he’s not putting out IT fires here at ACI, you can find him mountain biking and snowboarding in Lake Tahoe.

Field Technician

First Place! That’s where Jason’s team came in, beating 22 other teams in the 2019-2020 Mobile App Challenge (MAC) for The University of California, Merced.

This was a senior class project to implement a VR Eye Examination Test featuring pupil dilation readings for The Valley Children's Hospital. Specifically, this project focused on expanding Telemed services in the Central Valley for families with children and young adults in underserved areas.

“I’m really proud of the work we did on this project and the benefits it brings to folks who need it in the Central Valley.”

Following that project, Jason began working at The Valley Children’s Hospital as a Full Stack Developer & Lead Database Engineer. He also worked at Naviant as an IT Help Desk Technician.

While at Naviant, he provided technical support to 30+ individual companies from a variety of sectors such as healthcare, local government, and finance, configuring new servers and assisting with software upgrades.

“I was the first point of contact for customer issues which holds true today in my role at Ashe Cosgrove. I enjoy solving IT problems – installing and configuring new servers, desktops, and software to be deployed to multiple end users.”

Jason is a graduate of The University of California, Merced with a BS in Computer Science. When he’ s not working at ACI, you can find Jason camping, fishing, or hanging out with his cat, Pumpkin.

“Senior Citizen Tech Support was my favorite role prior to Ashe Cosgrove,"Brian says, “Never a dull moment!” Brian provided IT support for seniors in Marin County throughout the pandemic. In this role, his responsibilities included account recovery services, system setup and configuration, as well as providing private support sessions teaching fundamentals of IT.

"Working with Senior Citizens taught me patience!” Brian says, “I made everything as painless as possible for them.”

That trait has carried over to Ashe Cosgrove. Brian exercises tremendous patience while solving problems with platforms like AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUP, Bluebeam, Revit, Sentinel One, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server Management, and SharePoint.

Brian has attended Foothill Community College and Santa Rosa Junior College, where he studied Computer Science.

When he’s not working at Ashe Cosgrove, you can find Brian working on cars in his driveway in Novato.
